Effect. You cannot use this option selector.
Recovery. Specify a valid option selector. See “API Option Definitions” in the Remote
Server Call (RSC/MP) Programming Manual for a list of valid option selectors.

Cause. The specified request size is not valid for the current session type.
Effect. You cannot request a message.
Recovery. The maximum message size is limited by session type:
•
56,000 bytes for RSC_ST_INTERPROCESS when performing I/O to a named
server
•
31,000 bytes for RSC_ST_INTERPROCESS when performing I/O to a Pathway
serverclass via Pathsend
•
8192 for sessions of type RSC_ST_IDS
•
UMS may be up to 56,000 bytes.
