4 (A004 Hex)
Cause. This error code indicates that no TDP has a PIPE object started on the host
with a name that matches the HOST_PIPENAME option setting.
Effect. RscConnect fails.
Recovery. If the HOST_PIPENAME setting is wrong, fix it. Otherwise, start the TDP
PIPE object.
9 (A009 Hex)
Cause. A Piccolo pipe was closed unexpectedly while being used by RSC/MP. This
error indicates that one of the following was terminated while in use by an RSC/MP
connection: the TDP process, a PIPE object in the TDP, a network connection between
the host and workstation, or the RSCPIPE process on the workstation.
Effect. The connection is lost.
Recovery. Restart the affected component and restart the application.
12 (A00C Hex)
Cause. The Pipeman process is not running. If Piccolo is configured for automatic
startup, automatic startup failed.
Effect. RscConnect fails.
Recovery. Start the Pipeman process or correct the IpcKey option in the Piccolo
configuration file. If automatic startup of Piccolo is intended, check that the Piccolo
configuration file is readable by the RSC/MP application and contains the AutoStart=1
setting, and that the Pipeman executable is located in a directory named by the PATH
environment variable.
13 (A00D Hex)
Cause. A communications path to the remote system could not be established or an
existing path failed and could not be re-established.
Effect. RscConnect fails, or an existing connection is lost.
