Network Interface Section ([NIF-nifname])
ComDevice Option
The ComDevice option defines the communications device or port that will be
dedicated to the network interface. Note that the network interface opens this device
for its exclusive use. While the network interface is running, the device is not available
for use by other applications. This option may be overridden by adding an entry in the
Resolver section for the destination system. See Appendix E, Resolver Reference
Tags, for more information about the tags that can be used in the Resolver section.
