Network Interface Section ([NIF-nifname])
LinkType Option
The LinkType option defines whether the asynchronous connection to the remote
system is switched or dedicated. Null modem, leased line, and X.25 PVCs are
generally considered dedicated connections. Dialup modem and X.25 SVCs are
generally considered switched connections.
Required: No
Default: Dedicated
Platforms: All
Examples:
1. LinkType=switched
2. LinkType=dedicated
OUT Option
The OUT option specifies the OUT file for the NIF process.
filename
A valid file name or process name; DEFINES are not supported.
Required: No
Default: The OUT file of the Pipeman process.
Platforms: NonStop
