New and Changed Information
•
Two columns in a table in the introduction for were causing confusion and were
removed. These were “Hardware Platform” and “Software Environment” for
RSC clients on page 1-4.
•
A new host is provided to support HP Integrity NonStop servers. This new
deliverable was added to the list of RSC/MP Components; see Versions of
RSC/MP on the Host on page 1-4.
•
The Quick Start Guide RSC/MP Quick Start Guide on page 2-1 has been
updated to clarify that IDS setup is not included in the Quick Start.
•
The Quick Start Guide RSC/MP Quick Start Guide on page 2-1 has been
updated to include information regarding Piccolo options IN, OUT, Term, and
ProcessName.
•
The IDS-related files “ROUTER” and “TDPCOD” have been removed from the
list of files delivered on the Host; see Files Installed on the RSC/MP Host on
page 3-2. The sample IDS file IDSSAMPL remains and is described in the HP
NonStop Remote Server Call (RSC/MP) Programming Manual.

The Dynamic Link Library “LIBPIPE” was added to the list of files delivered on
the HOST; see Files Installed on the RSC/MP Host on page 3-2.
•
A new Piccolo option, SilentWindowsShutdown, was added; see
SilentWindowsShutdown Option on page 5-31.
•
Information was added to the Piccolo Resolver section about how to specify
IPv6 addresses; see TCP/IP Network Interface Addressing on page 9-2.
•
Appendix A, “Direct Communication Using the TCPIPPORT Object” has been
removed. Appendices B through G have been renamed A through F, with the
order unchanged.
