Configuration Options Reference
The following options are available for configuring the SPX network interface process
in the PIPE.INI file. The example configuration file shown later in this section uses
some of these options.
Network Interface Section ([NIF-nifname])
This NIF section contains options that control the operation of the SPX network. These
settings are read by the NIF process when it starts. Changes made to this section
while the NIF process is running do not take effect until the process is restarted. The
settings in this section are preceded by the section name [NIF-nifname], where
nifname is the user-defined symbolic name of the NIF.
For Windows and NonStop platforms, the ProgramFile and SPXName options
(required only if configuring multiple NIFs) are applicable. If SPXName is used on both
platforms in the resolver section, a corresponding SPXName must be specified for the
NIF on the other system to which you want to be connected.
CPU Option
The CPU option specifies the number of the processor where the process is to run.
number
An integer in the range from 0 through 15.
Required: No
Default: The CPU in which the Pipeman process is running.
Platforms: NonStop
Example:
CPU=3
CPU=number
