Using a Response File to Perform a Silent Installation
Use the rpw32exe.exe Win32 client file and the recorded response file to perform a
silent installation type:
rpw32exe.exe -s -a -s -f1c:\mydir\myrsc.iss
Check for a log file called setup.log which has information about the status of the
installation. To check whether the services were not installed on a platform that
supports Windows Services, If the installation was performed on a platform that
supports Windows Services, look for the file rscserv.log in the bin directory of the
RSC/MP installation (the same directory as the rscserv.exe program). If the
rscserv.log file exists, the services were not installed.
