Pipeman status, NIF status, and version information; and to control Piccolo and NIF
event logging.
Running the PIPECP Program
PIPECP is an interactive program that presents an identical command-oriented
interface on all supported platforms. You invoke PIPECP according to the standards of
the platform you are using:
On Windows systems, select the PIPECP icon in the RSC folder.
On Windows systems or UNIX platforms, at the command prompt type:
PIPECP
On NonStop systems, at the TACL prompt type:
> run pipecp
PIPECP indicates whether Piccolo is running and enters its interactive mode indicated
by the command prompt pipecp>. At this prompt, enter PIPECP commands as
described in PIPECP Commands on page 9-2. PIPECP continues accepting
commands until you enter the QUIT or EXIT command.
PIPECP also supports single-command operation from the system command prompt
on all platforms. To execute a single command, include it on the command line after
the PIPECP program name. For example, to start Piccolo and return to the system
command prompt, type:
> pipecp start
