Messages Reported From the Host
3016
*** Error 3016: <object type> object '<object name>' has not
been configured.
Cause. The specified object has not been configured.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. Supply the name of an existing object.
3017
*** Error 3017: There is no log recording device currently
open.
Cause. A LOGCLOSE command was issued whe n no log recording device was
opened.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. This message is informational only. No corrective action is necessary.
3018
*** Error 3018: You must supply the name of an existing log
device as the log record destination.
Cause. A LOGOPEN command was issued with no destination name.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. Supply a va lid log recording destination.
3019
*** Error 3019: File system error <error code> occurred while
attempting to open log device <device name>.
Cause. A Guardian file system error occurred while attempting to open the log
recording device.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. Determine the cause of the error and correct it before restarting the
workstation application.
