'RECEIVE'> attempt.
Cause. A fatal or unexpected error occurred while attempting the specified file system
or TCP/IP run-time operation.
Effect. The operation failed.
Recovery. Recovery depends on the severity and type of error. To see the text of file
system errors, type ―error error code‖ at a TACL prompt. To see the text of TCP/IP run-
time errors, see the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual. Report the
error to your TCP/IP administrator.

Report the error to your TCP/IP administrator.

An excessive number of retryable errors has been received
from the <tcp/ip process> process.
Cause. The retryable error count was exceeded, possibly because of network errors.
Effect. The TCPIPPORT object was aborted.
Recovery. Correct the conditions that caused the network errors.
