Recovery. The maximum message size is limited by session type:
56,000 bytes for RSC_ST_INTERPROCESS when performing I/O to a named
server
31,000 bytes for RSC_ST_INTERPROCESS when performing I/O to a Pathway
serverclass via Pathsend
8192 for sessions of type RSC_ST_IDS
UMS may be up to 56,000 bytes.

The specified session handle is not valid.
Type. Program
Severity. Fatal
Cause. The specified session ha ndle is not va lid.
Effect. You cannot use this session handle.
Recovery. Use the RscBeginSession function to obtain a valid session handle.
16 (0010 Hex)
The specified session type is not valid.
Type. Program
Severity. Fatal
Cause. The specified session type is not valid.
Effect. You cannot use this session type.
Recovery. Supply the valid session type constant: RSC_ST_INTERPROCESS or
RSC_ST_IDS.
17 (0011 Hex)
The requested IO is still pending.
Type. Program
Severity. Retry
Cause. The requested I/O is still pending. The I/O operation associated with the
specified IoHandle parameter is not yet complete.
Effect. No data is returned in the buffer, and the operation cannot complete.
