Your API library and Communications Subsystem are not
compatible.

Severity. Configuration
Cause. Your API library and communications subsystem (RSCPIPE) are not
compatible.
Effect. The API library and RSC/MP communications subsystem cannot
communicate.
Recovery. Install a compatible release of RSCPIPE or RSC/MP API DLL (for
Windows applications), or relink your application with a compatible release of the API
library. See the Remote Server Call (RSC/MP) Installation and Configuration Guide for
compatibility information. The release levels can be determined by using the
RSCVPROC utility.

API/TDP message layer version conflict. Your API and TDP are
not compatible.

Severity. Configuration
Cause. There is an API and TDP message layer version conflict. The release level of
the host TDP process is incompatible with the version of the workstation API library in
use.
Effect. The API and TDP cannot communicate.
Recovery. Install compatible releases of software on the host and workstation. See
the Remote Server Call (RSC/MP) Installation and Configuration Guide for
compatibility information. The release levels can be determined by using the
RSCVPROC utility.
