Piccolo Messages
Recovery. Confirm that a communications path to the remote system exists, that an
appropriate local network interface is running, and that the Pipeman process and
appropriate network interfaces on the remote system are running.
17 (A011 Hex)
PIPERC_PIPEMAN_OBSOLETE
Cause. The Pipeman process that is running on the local system is not compatible
with RSC/MP.
Effect. Results are unpredictable.
Recovery. Reinstall RSC/MP.
32 (A020 Hex)
PIPERC_INVALID_RESOLVER_ENTRY
Cause. The resolver section entry for the specific system is not valid.
Effect. RscConnect fails.
Recovery. Correct the Resolver section entry in the Piccolo configuration file.
34 (A022 Hex)
PIPERC_RESOLVER_ERROR
Cause. The system address of the host system is not the same as the address that
was specified by the client. The SystemName/DomainName combination at the
destination must match that sent by the client. The cause of a mismatch can be a bad
SystemName or DomainName in the host Piccolo configuration file.
Effect. RscConnect fails.
Recovery. Correct the mismatched names.
36 (A024 Hex)
PIPERC_REMOTE_RSRC_FAILURE
Cause. The send operation on the remote system failed due to a resource failure,
such as low memory.
Effect. Results of subsequent operations are unpredictable.
Recovery. Reconnect after the problem at the remote system has been corrected.
