EMS Token Values and Event
Messages
This section describes the token va lues that can be used with the Event Management
Service (EMS) and lists the event messages. See the HP EMS Manual for more
details about EMS.
Token Definitions
The following lists show the RSC/MP-specific tokens and tokens that are common to
all EMS-formatted messages logged by the TDP.
RSC/MP-Specific Tokens
Each EMS message includes a text template that can be ―filled in‖ by using one or
more data va lues from this list. Note that each token type is referenced symbolically.
The actua l va lues are defined in the RSC.DDL file.
Token Identifier Data Type Purpose
ZRSC-TKN-ACTION-ID ZSPI-TYP-INT This is the 16-bit action ID
being processed by the TDP
state machine. This field
appears in messages
signifying state table errors.
ZRSC-TKN-COMM-
PATHNUM
ZSPI-TYP-INT Appears in messages that
reference a NUMBERED
communications path,
normally in an underlying
subsystem (such as a socket
ID).
ZRSC-TKN-CPU-ID ZSPI-TYP-INT Appears in messages that
reference processes in a
specific CPU.
