What‘s New in This Manual New and Changed Information
RSC/MP can now run on 64-bit Linux clients
. New shared libraries are distributed
with the product for use on 64-bit platforms. See Linking UNIX RSC/MP
Applications on page 6-5.
A new section, Linking UNIX (SUSE and RedHat Linux) RSC/MP Applications, has
been added to Appendix A, Migration to RSC/MP 7.3.
A time delay feature has been added for restarting a backup process when it fails.
Refer to the Using a Backup TDP section on page 6-17 for more details.
The RSCW32.DLL run-time library included with the T0810 7.3.0 and 7.3.2
releases included the RSC API for Windows in the CDECL calling convention.
Therefore, RSCNT.DLL (which can be renamed to RSCW32.DLL) is included with
the T0810 release so previously linked applications will be able to run without re-
linking. Refer to Appendix A, Migration to RSC/MP 7.3, page A-2 for details.
