Option Definition
TERM_NAME A name that uniquely identifies a terminal. For static
terminals, the value of TERM_NAME must match the
name of the TERM object. For dynamic terminals, this
name is optional.
TERM_TEMPLATE Identifies the dynamic TERM object in the TDP. The name
supplied for this option must be the name of the TERM
object in the TDP. If a TERM object with this name is
configured as a template, then a dynamic terminal is
created for this connection. This option is not used for
static terminals. The default value is DYNAMIC.
TMF_OPTION Automatically initiates a transaction state. The value of
this option specifies which TMF functions are performed
with one or more successful RscWriteRead function calls.
The valid values for this option are:
0 – No transaction state. This is the default value.
1 – Begin a transaction state.
2 – End a transaction state. Subject to SUCCESS_HI and
SUCCESS_LO value.
3 – Begin a transaction state when an RscWriteRead is
sent to the host. The transaction state ends when the
reply is received, subject to SUCCESS_HI and
SUCCESS_LO values.
USER_ID Sets the user ID that identifies an RSC/MP application or
a session to the ACS, if one is configured. This option is
the same as the USER_NAME option.
USER_NAME Sets the user ID that identifies an RSC/MP application or
a session to the ACS, if one is configured. This option is
the same as the USER_ID option.
WRITEREAD_PATHMON The destination PATHMON for a Pathway/TS session
RscWriteRead request. This option is equivalent to the
PATHMON name in the SCREEN COBOL SEND
statement. If this option is not specified, the value for
PATHMON_NAME is used.
WRITEREAD_SYSTEM The destination system for a Pathway/TS is equivalent to
the system name in the SCREEN COBOL SEND
statement. If this option is not specified, the local system
is used.
