Extracting Audit Information
The Safeguard subsystem provides an audit reduction tool called SAFEART.
SAFEART is an interactive or batch-mode program that allows you to retrieve
information from the audit files. To produce a report with SAFEART, you specify a time
period for the report and criteria to describe the types of events you want included in
the report. The report is written to a file you specify. SAFEART is described in these
sections:
You can also use Enform to extract some of the data from these files. However, Enform
is not suited for extracting information from repeating fields, such as access control list
(ACL) entries.
Note. Effective with the D10 product version of Safeguard, the SAFEACT program is no longer
supported and cannot be used for audit file conversion.
