Event-Message Descriptions
The following pages describe in detail each event message that can be issued by the
Safeguard subsystem. The descriptions appear in ascending order by event number;
that is, in ascending order by the ZSFG-EVT- values.
Each event message description includes a box that lists all the tokens that the
Safeguard software can place in the message buffer. Header tokens are also listed
because an application can filter event messages on header tokens as well as on other
tokens.
Tokens can be unconditional, conditional, or HP internal. Safeguard tokens are
unconditional unless described otherwise. HP internal tokens should not be used by an
application.
19 SMON-LOST-SMP A Safeguard monitor process could not
communicate with the Safeguard manager
process ($ZSMP).
20 CMON-MISSING The $CMON process was not found.
21 VIRT-OBJFILE-DOWN A file-system error occurred during an attempt
to access a Safeguard file on a virtual disk.
22 FILE-LOCKED A lock was found on a Safeguard file while
processing a request.
23 SEGALLOC-ERR The pattern cache encountered a segment
allocation error.
24 POOLDEFINE-ERR The pattern cache encountered an error using
the POOL system calls.
25 POOLGETSPACE-ERR The pattern cache encountered an error
obtaining space from the pool.
26 MAX-LIMIT-CON-UA-REQ Indicates the maximum number of concurrent
USER_AUTHENTICATE_requests that can be
serviced.
27 MAX-CON-UA-REQ-EXCEED The current number of concurrent
USER_AUTHENTICATE_requests exceeds
the maximum limit.
28 THRESHOLD-CON-UA-REQ The current number of concurrent
USER_AUTHENTICATE_requests exceeds
the indicated threshold percent of the
maximum limit.
29 CONUA-BELOW-THRESHOLD The current number of concurrent
USER_AUTHENTICATE_requests is below
the indicated threshold percent of the
maximum limit.
