ZSFG-ERR-COMP-MODE

An attempt was made to change or set the password to a length greater than eight

characters, when PASSWORD-COMPATIBILITY-MODE is set to ON.

Tokens

ZSPI-TKN-ERROR

is the standard SPI error token, as described in the SPI Programming Manual. Its

value consists of the Safeguard subsystem ID and the error number

ZSFG-ERR-COMP-MODE. This token is always present in the error list.

ZCOM-TKN-OBJNAME

is the first object name provided with the command on which the error occurred.

This token is always present in the error list.

Probable Cause

An attempt was made to change or set the password to a length greater than eight

characters, when PASSWORD-COMPATIBILITY-MODE is set to ON.

Recommended Action

The password can be greater than eight when PASSWORD-COMPATIBILITY-MODE is

set to OFF, skip the warning message to continue with the password length less than

or equal to eight.

ZSFG-ERR-PSWD-QUAL-NEED-HMAC

An attempt was made to change or set the password quality attribute, when

PASSWORD-ALGORITHM is DES or PASSWORD-ENCRYPT is OFF.
