ALTER SUBSYSTEM Command
Leading, trailing spaces, or contiguous embedded spaces are not allowed. Spaces
are only allowed in passwords when ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-ENCRYPT is set to ZSPI-
VAL-TRUE and ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-ALGTHM is ZSFG-VAL-PSWD-ALGTHM-
HMAC256.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-SPACES-ALLOWED is an optional token and its initial value is
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-QUALITY
indicates the minimum number of quality criteria that must be met when a
password is set or changed. The ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-QUALITY attribute
can have values from 0 through 5. When ZSFG-TNM-PSWD-REQ-MIN-QUALITY
is 0, it is not required to satisfy any quality criteria even if all the quality attributes
are set to ZSPI-VAL-TRUE.
When ZSFG-TNM-PSWD-REQ-MIN-QUALITY is 3, at least three quality criteria
must be met while setting or changing the password.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-QUALITY is an optional token and its initial value is
0.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-ALPHA
indicates whether lowercase alphabetic characters are required in a password
when it is set or modified. The ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-ALPHA-REQUIRED attribute
can have Boolean values ON or OFF. The default value is OFF.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-ALPHA
indicates the minimum number of alphabetic characters required in a password
when it is set or modified. The ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-ALPHA attribute can
have values from 0 through 8. The default value is 0.
For the ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-REQ-MIN-ALPHA attribute to take effect, ZSFG-TKN-
PSWD-REQ-ALPHA must be set to ON.
Note. The attribute ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-SPACES-ALLOWED is supported only on systems
running H06.09 and later H-series RVUs and G06.31 and later G-series RVUs.
