Subsystem Action
The monitor process continues processing requests, but it cannot audit access
attempts on which it rules. If the audit service recovery action is DENY GRANTS, the
monitor process rejects all access attempts.
Recommended Action
If the $ZSMP process has been delayed in responding to the monitor process, it might
return to normal without being restarted. Check the operator messages for a message
from $ZSMP indicating that auditing has been directed to a new audit file. This
message indicates a return to normal processing.
If $ZSMP is no longer running, the Safeguard subsystem must be restarted.
