Recommended Action
The PASSWORD-ALGORITHM should be HMAC256 and PASSWORD-ENCRYPT
should be ON.
ZSFG-ERR-PSWD-MAXLEN-LESS-MINLEN
An attempt was made to change the value of the Safeguard attribute
PASSWORD-MAXIMUM-LENGTH to a value less than
PASSWORD-MINIMUM-LENGTH.
Tokens
ZSPI-TKN-ERROR
is the standard SPI error token, as described in the SPI Programming Manual. Its
value consists of the Safeguard subsystem ID and the error number
ZSFG-ERR-PSWD-MAXLEN-LESS-MINLEN. This token is always present in the
error list.
ZCOM-TKN-OBJNAME
is the first object name provided with the command on which the error occurred.
This token is always present in the error list.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-MAX-LENGTH
is the maximum length of the password.
ZSFG-TKN-PSWD-MIN-LENGTH
is the minimum length of the password.
Probable Cause
An attempt was made to change the value of the Safeguard attribute
PASSWORD-MAXIMUM-LENGTH to a value less than
PASSWORD-MINIMUM-LENGTH.
Note. This error token is supported only on systems running G06.31 and later G-series RVUs
and H06.08 and later H-series RVUs.
