HELP Command
followed by a brief description of each replacement SCF command. If you enter
PUP with command, SCF displays a brief description of the replacement SCF
command.
basic-component
displays a description of one of the SCF basic components. You can request
information about any of the following basic component names by preceding the
name with the command HELP (for example, HELP SENSITIVE):
subsystem
is the name of any one of the subsystems supported by SCF for which help is
desired (for example, HELP SNAX). For most subsystems, HELP subsystem
displays information about commands and objects supported by that subsystem.
subsystem error-number
is the name of the subsystem and the number of the error for which help is desired
(for example, HELP EXPAND 8). This can denote any supported subsystem error.
Information about the specified subsystem error is displayed.
command
is an SCF command for which help is desired (for example, HELP STATUS).
HELP command displays generic information about the specified command.
object-type
is a valid object type for which help is desired (for example, HELP PATH).
HELP object-type displays generic information about the specified object type.
object-name
is an existing object name for which help is desired (for example, HELP $ZEXP).
HELP object-name displays generic information about the specified object
name.
object-state
is a valid SCF object state for which help is desired (for example, HELP
SUSPENDED). HELP object-state displays generic information about the
specified object state.
