Using MIGSCF in Interactive Mode
Example
The following command converts the PUP and COUP commands in multiple command
files to SCF commands:
>MIGSCF / IN BATCHIN , OUT RPT04 / -B
The BATCHIN file contains a PUP command file, a COUP command file, and a TACL
command file that contains COUP commands; the corresponding output file; and the
fmode designation for a PUP command file, a COUP command file, and a TACL
command file.
Using MIGSCF in Interactive Mode
At a TACL prompt, you can use MIGSCF to convert a single COUP or PUP command
to the equivalent SCF command. The syntax is:
term
is the name of a terminal or process. The IN and OUT values must be the same.
You can optionally specify a subvolume or volume location.
If term is a process, MIGSCF displays the following message.
fmode
is one of the following file modes. The fmode attribute is not case-sensitive.
You can optionally specify Q if you want to disable the warning about specifying a
process for the term attribute.
PUPMGT.PRI SCFCONF.PRI -P
COUPCONF.DISKS SCFCONF.DISKS -C
OBEYMGT.COUPSTAT SCFCONF.OSTATUS -O
MIGSCF [ / IN term , OUT term / ] fmode
*** WARNING *** The input is a process. Coding changes may
be required for that process.
If the command you want converted is… Then fmode is…
A COUP command -C [Q]
A PUP command -P [Q]
