Figure 1-5 shows SCF communications from a system running G-series to a system
running D-series.
The G-series version of SCF can communicate with the local SCP (shown in bold),
which in turn communicates with the subsystems that are new ($ZZKRN and $ZZWAN,
for example) and old (Expand and X25AM, for example). The same G-series SCP can
communicate with the D-series SCP and its subsystems (Expand and X25AM, for
example), using D-series SCF commands.
To fully manage a system running D-series from a system running G-series, you
should log on to the system running D-series. For example:
\G00> \D40.TACL
> LOGON
> PASSWORD
