SETPROMPT Command
SETPROMPT Command
The SETPROMPT command allows you to choose the form of the SCF prompt.
This is a nonsensitive command.
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file. The variable file-spec is defined on page 5-9.
NO
disables the specified prompt-option.
prompt-option
is one of the following:
ALL
enables all prompt-option values.
NONE
disables all prompt-option values. All prompt-option values are returned to
their default values.
Consideration
The REVERSE and DIM options can be used only on a 6530 or 6520 terminal or a
device operating as a 6530 emulator.
SETPROMPT [ /OUT file-spec/ ]
{ [ NO ] prompt-option [ , [ NO ] prompt-option ]… }
{ ALL [ , [ NO ] prompt-option ]… }
{ NONE [ , prompt-option ]… }
DIM Displays the prompt in dim video.
MANAGER Displays the manager name, if one was set by the
SETMANAGER command.
NUMBER Displays the command-line number. This is the default.
OBJECT Displays the assumed object type and object name (see
ASSUME Command on page 5-36).
REVERSE Displays the prompt in reverse video.
SYSTEM Displays the current system name.
VOLUME Displays the default volume and subvolume names.
