SCF Error Messages
00017
Cause. The ZsubsysSCF product module is unable to allocate an extended segment
for the subsystem table.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual to correct
the err-num; then retry the command.
00018
Cause. The product module file for subsystem is incorrect. The product module file
is the $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.ZsubsysSCF file, where subsys is the 3-character
mnemonic for subsystem.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Copy the correct file from another location. If you are unable to find the
correct file, contact your service provider, as described under If You Have to Call Your
Service Provider on page B-2.
00019
Cause. An invalid case value has been generated with no associated case label.
Effect. SCF terminates.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
SCF Error Messages
Error numbers generated by SCF begin at 20000. Note that each error message is
displayed here with a prefix of “SCF”, followed by the error number and the error text.
TABLPM 00017 Unable to allocate an extended segment for PM
use, PM = $volume.subvol.ZsubsysSCF, ERROR = err-num.
TABLPM 00018 subsystem Product module has incorrect format.
TABLPM 00019 INTERNAL ERROR: Case value out of range.
