Common Error Messages
-00812
Cause. An invalid TRACE function has been requested.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. As described under If You Have to Call Your Service Provider on page B-2,
save pertinent information and contact your service provider.
-00814
Cause. A TRACE command to stop or alter tracing has been received and the TRACE
facility has not been started.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
-00819
Cause. A TRACE segment overflow has occurred; trace data has been lost.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Reduce the amount of tracing data by selecting fewer items to trace, and
retry the request.
-00822
Cause. A TRACE command has been received. The TRACE facility is currently active
in the named subsystem and an attempt has been made to start another trace.
Effect. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed. If you want,
stop the current trace and retry the command.

subsystem {E|W}-00814 Trace is not active for object-name.
subsystem {E|W}-00819 Trace segment overflow; trace data lost
for object-name.
