Adding a Similar Disk to Another System
For 45xx, M8xxx, and ESS disks, PRIMARYLOCATION and MIRRORLOCATION
are the storage adapter locations instead of disk locations, so the adapter location
attributes do not automatically determine the SAC and DEVICEID attributes. You
must make sure that every path for the new disk differs in some way (group,
module, slot, SAC number, or device ID) from every other path configured to every
device on the system.
3. Enter the log file contents either by copying and pasting into an SCF command line
or by using the log file as a command file.
