AUTOCONFIGURE { ON | OFF }
specifies whether the storage subsystem performs automatic configuration of
nonconfigured internal storage devices when they are discovered.
For information about using this attribute, see Automating Disk Configuration on
page 6-6.
AUTOREVIVE { ON | OFF }
(mirrored disks only) specifies whether to automatically start a revive operation on
a mirrored volume either when a new disk is inserted or when the system is loaded
and a mirrored volume is not synchronized.
For information about using this attribute, see Configuring Internal Mirrored
Magnetic Disks to Revive Automatically on page 6-13.
AUTOSTART { ON | OFF }
(internal and M8xxx disks only) specifies whether to automatically start the disk
process when the disk is inserted.
DISK AUTOSTART ON is ignored if SUBSYS AUTOSTART is OFF.
For information about using this attribute, see Mirrored Disk Placement on
page 6-12.
BULKIO { ON | OFF }
specifies whether the system allows direct bulk I/O operations. The default is ON.
Direct bulk I/O starts automatically and is transparent to all applications. It
improves system performance during disk and tape bulk data transfers. By using
direct bulk I/O, data can be transferred directly over ServerNet paths between an
