The TAPE Object
which configures and manages all storage objects in the storage subsystem. For more
information, see Section 3, Using the Storage Subsystem Manager.
The SUBSYS object has this format:
$ZZSTO
is the storage subsystem manager process.
Wild-card characters are supported.

The TAPE Object
The TAPE object represents a specific tape drive, which is a storage device for
archiving data. For more information, see Section 13, Configuring and Managing Tape
Drives.
The TAPE object has this format:
$tape-name
is the name of the tape process controlling the tape device.
Wild-card characters are supported.

TAPE Object States
The object state of a TAPE object provides current status information about a tape
drive.
