volname
is the disk name you specified.
Cause. You attempted to run a disk IOP from an object file that resides on the disk
controlled by that IOP.
Effect. The command is not executed. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Run the disk IOP from an object file that is not located on the disk
controlled by that IOP.
In addition, ensure that:
•
There are no crosswise configurations in your system.
•
Executable objects are not placed on disks that start after the target disk starts.
The exception to this rule is the system-load volume, which can have its object file on
its disk.
00088
volname
is the disk name you specified.
err-num
is the file-system error that occurred. For more information, refer to the Guardian
Procedure Errors and Messages Manual.
Cause. You initiated a replace operation, and a file-system error occurred while the
new object file was being verified.
Effect. The command is not executed. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery.
1. Ensure that the correct object is present.
2. Retry the command.
STORAGE 00087 DISK volname cannot have IOP object on itself.
