Storage Subsystem Error Messages
Recovery. Determine the correct value for the attribute and reissue the command.
01036
devname
is the name of the device you specified in the command.
Cause. The modification time stamps on the primary and mirror disks of the mirrored
volume differ. A revive operation is required.
Effect. The command is executed. However, the magnetic disk half with the older
time stamp is left in a STOPPED summary state, substate DOWN. SCF waits for the
next command.
Recovery. Use the SCF DISK START command to revive the volume.
01037
Cause. A revive operation is not started because the target disk is not formatted.
Effect. The command is not executed. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Replace the disk with a formatted disk, or format the disk before retrying
the REVIVE command.
01038
Cause. A name conflict was detected in a RENAME or ALTER, LABEL command.
Effect. The command is not executed. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Resolve the name conflict before retrying the command.
01039
Cause. The storage subsystem manager detected a discrepancy in the disk label.
Effect. The disk is not put in a STARTED state.
STORAGE 01036 Disk pair is not consistent. The devname
diskhalf not restarted.
STORAGE 01037 Disk is not formatted. The revive is not
started.
STORAGE 01038 Name conflict, the name is already in use on
the system.
STORAGE 01039 A disk label discrepancy was detected.
