ALLOWOPENS ALLOWOPENS DISK Permits files to be opened on a magnetic
disk. It reverses the effect of the
STOPOPENS command.
CHECKSUM CONTROL DISK,
CHECKSUM
Reads and rewrites disk sectors in order
to correct checksum values.
CONSOLE -- Not applicable to the storage subsystem.
DEFINEPOOL ADD POOL Adds a storage pool to the system
configuration.
DEFINEVIRTDISK ADD DISK, TYPE
VIRTUAL
Adds a virtual disk to the system
configuration.
DEISOLATE ALTER DISK,
PHYSVOLSELECT
OFF
Files can be placed on the volume either
by the virtual disk process or by a
placement request that contains a
physical volume name.
DELETEPOOL DELETE POOL Deletes the storage pool specified.
DELETEVIRTDISK DELETE DISK Deletes disks that were added with the
ADD command.
DEQUARANTINE ALTER DISK,
AUTOSELECTION
ON
The virtual disk process is allowed to
place files on the volume.
DEMOUNT -- Not applicable to the storage subsystem.
DOWN STOP Stops the object in an orderly way. The
device isn’t stopped until current activity
ends.
RESET Puts the object in a state from which it
can be restarted. It also stops a disk that
is currently being revived.
DOWN, HARD ABORT DISK Stops all access to the disk as quickly as
possible. Disk is left in the STOPPED
state, substate HARDDOWN.
