PUP Commands and Equivalent SCF Commands
ISOLATE ALTER DISK, 
PHYSVOLSELECT 
ON
The virtual disk process is allowed to put 
files on the volume only when the request 
contains the physical volume name. 
FORMAT  INITIALIZE DISK Erases existing files, labels the disk, and 
starts it.
LABEL  ALTER DISK, LABEL Erases existing files and writes a volume 
label on a new or previously labeled 
volume. 
LISTBAD  INFO DISK, BAD Displays bad sector information for the 
specified disk. 
LISTCACHE  INFO DISK, CACHE Displays disk cache configuration 
information for the specified disk. 
LISTCACHE, 
STATISTICS 
STATS DISK Lists current statistics.
LISTCACHE, INIT  STATS DISK, RESET Lists current statistics and restores 
statistics counters to their initial values 
after the statistics are displayed.
LISTDEV INFO 
STATUS 
Displays disk configuration and status 
information for the specified disk. 
  STATUS  Displays the current status of the object.
LISTDEV Displays the device type, that is, type 4 
for tape.
LISTFREE  -- Not applicable to the storage subsystem. 
Use the DSAP utility. 
LISTLABEL  INFO DISK, LABEL Displays the volume label information for 
the specified disk.
LISTLOG  INFO DISK, LOG Displays spared sectors.
LOADMICROCODE  -- Not applicable to the storage subsystem. 
Not required.
LSATOFILE  INFO DISK, SECTOR Displays the file name of that sector. 
PRIMARY PRIMARY Switches the process backup processor 
and primary processor.
SWITCH Specifies the preferred path for any 
device accessed from multiple paths.
PSATOCYL  -- Not applicable to the storage subsystem. 
Not required. 
QUARANTINE ALTER DISK, 
AUTOSELECT OFF
Prevents the virtual disk process from 
placing files on the volume. 
REBUILDDFS CONTROL DISK, 
REBUILDDFS
Rebuilds the free-space table on a 
magnetic disk.
REDEFINEPOOL  ALTER POOL Changes any specified attributes.
