Recovery.
1. Verify you used the correct disk name.
2. Reissue the command, if necessary.
01020
volname
is the name of the volume that you specified in the command.
Cause. You tried to update the label on a disk that is not in a correct state.
Effect. The label operation is not performed. SCF waits for the next command.
Recovery. Issue an SCF RESET DISK command and retry the operation. If the
problem persists, contact your service provider. See If You Have to Contact Your
Service Provider on page B-1.
01021
volname
is the name of the volume that you specified in the command.
Cause. You issued the ALTER DISK, LABEL command to a disk that is not properly
formatted.
Effect. The command is not executed. SCF waits for the next command.

volname
is the name of the volume that you specified in the command.
err-num
STORAGE 01020 ALTER DISK volname, LABEL failed, disk is in an
incorrect state.
STORAGE 01021 ALTER DISK volname, LABEL failed, disk is not
properly formatted.
STORAGE 01022 ALTER DISK volname, LABEL failed, work file
error: err-num.
