Power On the Storage Device
Power On the Storage Device
Refer to the instructions for the specific storage device.
Power On the Fiber-to-SCSI extender (CTFSE)
1. Insert the power cord into the AC Power Receptacle.
2. Connect the power cord to an AC power source.
3. Power on the Fiber-to-SCSI extender (CTFSE).
Power On the SCSI-to-Fiber extender (CTSFE)
1. Insert the power cord into the AC Power Receptacle.
2. Connect the power cord to an AC power source.
3. Turn on the power.
Caution. When powering on the SCSI extenders, make sure that the Fiber-to-SCSI (CTFSE)
extender and connected storage device are powered on first. After the Fiber-to-SCSI extender
(CTFSE) beeps, power on the SCSI-to-Fiber extender (CTSFE).
