PWCONFIG Utility
the above options are specified when Safeguard is up, the command is rejected with
the following error message:
SAFEGUARD IS RUNNING; USE SAFECOM TO CONFIGURE PASSWORDS
For more information about SAFECOM, see the Safeguard Administrator's Manual.
The PROMPTPASSWORD and INFO commands are serviced by the PWCONFIG
utility, irrespective of Safeguard being up or down.
EMS Message
When Safeguard is installed on the system, the following EMS message is dispalyed if
the password configuration attribute is altered using the PWCONFIG program.
When Safeguard is not installed on the system, the following EMS message is
displayed if the password configuration attribute is altered using the PWCONFIG
program.
When Safeguard is installed on the system, the following EMS message is displayed if
the password configuration attribute, MAXPASSWORDLEN, is altered using the
PWCONFIG program.
When Safeguard is not installed on the system, the following EMS message is
displayed if the password configuration attribute, MAXPASSWORDLEN, is altered
using the PWCONFIG program.
