Commands
Table 4-1 gives a summary of all SSGCOM commands.
Considerations
•
To display information for commands and options while you are working with the
SSGCOM command interpreter, use the HELP command.
•
To delimit an end-of-line comment for a command, use the exclamation point (!)
before the comment.
•
To execute a command, enter enough characters to uniquely identify that
command. For example, to execute the STATUS command, enter STAT. STA does
not distinguish STATUS from STARTUP.

Stops the SSGCOM command interpreter
FC Command
Invokes the standard FUP fix command
HELP Command
Displays an explanation of the specified SSG command
LOGON
Command
Logs on to the SSG and shows SET VERIFYUSER
OBEY Command
Executes commands in an OBEY file
PAUSE Command
Suspends program until you enter a stop, abend, or break message
SECURE
Command
Alters CI access rules for a running SSG
SET Command
Displays or alters option settings
SHOW Command
Displays SSG configuration options
SHUTDOWN
Command
Stops the gateway in specified node or nodes
STARTUP
Command
Starts the gateway in specified node or nodes
STATUS
Command
Provides status information about the gateway in specified node or
nodes
SYSTEM
Command
Specifies a default system name
TRACE
Command
Alters SSGCOM trace settings
VERSION
Command
Displays version information about SSGCOM, SSGSHELL, and
SeeView processes
VOLUME
Command
Displays or changes the default volume name

Displays process access user ID information
