SET Command
OCMvol subvolume
specifies the work subvolume for the OCM process. The default value is
$SYSTEM.ZSSGWORK.
PATHWAY ON | OFF
specifies Pathway configuration. ON causes the Gateway to configure itself as
a well-known server class name equal to “SSG.” The Gateway configures itself
as a server class by starting a PATHMON process in the same node as the
Gateway. In addition, if OCM is set to ON, the OCM process is also defined as
a Pathway server class.
Specifying PATHWAY OFF disables any server class declarations and inhibits
the startup of PATHMON. The default value is OFF.
RSC ON | OFF
specifies RSC configuration. ON causes the Gateway to start an RSC TDP
process in the same node as the Gateway.
OFF disables startup of a TDP process. The default value is OFF. Transport
services are built into the Client Server Gateway (CSG) and the SeeView
Server Gateway (SSG) that do not require RSC. This option is for only
customers and users that need RSC transport services.
Before turning this option ON, check that the name of the RSCconf file is valid.
RSCconf file-name
defines the RSC configuration file name. Gateway uses this file name to
configure RSC when you SET RSC ON. The default is
$SYSTEM.ZSSGWORK.SSGRSC.
To create this file:
1. Run OBEY INSTALL in the ZSSG installation subvolume.
2. Select RSC Setup for SSG.
3. Configure the RSC transports that you need.
4. Select START RscSetup Build.
SECURERESTRICT ON | OFF
determines whether SSGCOM restricts entry of SECURE commands to the
SUPER group only or permits such entry to any user.
If SECURERESTRICT is ON (the default value), SECURE commands are
accepted only under these circumstances:
•
If the commands are located in the $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.SSGCONF file
and that file is owned by the super group
