RSC Setup for SSG
RSC TCP/IP Configuration
RSC TCP/IP Configuration is not a requirement of the CSG and SSG products. RSC is
one of several communications options that can be used to connect workstation
graphical user interfaces (GUIs) via the Client Server Gateway (CSG) to the SeeView
Server Gateway (SSG) on HP NonStop host systems.
If you determine that you need to use the optional RSC interface, select the TCP/IP
Configuration menu item from the RscSetup menu, shown in Figure 2-46 on
page 2-48, to display the Rsc TCP/IP Setup fields, as shown in Figure 2-47 on
page 2-49.
For context-sensitive help for any field in the Rsc TCP/IP Setup panel, put the cursor in
the field and press the Shift-Return keys. Figures 2-47 through 2-55 show the results of
pressing the Shift-Return keys with the cursor pointing to each of the fields in the Rsc
TCP/IP Setup panel. After filling in these fields, select the Update RSC Setup field to
continue the RSC setup installation:
1. Enter the TCP process name in the RscCom TCP Process field and press the
Return key. Figure 2-47 shows the Ssghelp text you receive when you put the
cursor in this field and press the Shift-Return keys.
