RSC Setup for SSG
Example 2-1 shows the contents of the RSCINI file that was generated when the
START RscSetup Build menu item was selected from the RscSetup menu.
Once you follow the steps to copy RSCINI to each workstation, as described earlier,
activate the section that applies to that workstation by removing the RSC semicolon
comment delimiter from the ;[RSC] section identifier that describes the RSC
configuration parameters for that workstation. For instance, in Example 2-1, the section
for Async terminal T22T0 would be activated by removing the semicolon from in front
of the [RSC] section identifier for that section (shown in bold type in the example).
Note. The RSCINI file contains a section for each RSC Line Configuration menu item defined
in the RSC Setup for SSG. You must activate the appropriate section in each workstation for
the desired communications method and transport address for that workstation.

; - After you have configured your SSG lines, use the START RscSetup -
; - Build menu item to build a general RSC.INI file that can be used -
; - on each workstation that you have configured to communicate with -
; - SSG. -
; - -
; - Once the RSC.INI file is built, you should download it to each -
; - CSG workstation, and activate the [RSC] section pertaining to -
; - that workstation. (Delete the ";" comment character in front -
