SSG Gateway Status
3. If the settings are not what you want, do one of:

Exit the SSG command interpreter and change the SSGCONF file
appropriately. Then start SSG again, as described in Step 1 on page 3-3.

Override the defaults by issuing the appropriate SET commands.

Create a custom OBEY command file that includes the desired SET
commands.

You can obtain the status of the SSG Gateway processes from SSGCOM by using the
STATUS command.

Stopping the SSG
Use the SSGCOM command interpreter to shut down Gateway processes. You must
shut down Gateway processes to alter their configuration or to install new versions of
SSG or SeeView files.
1. To shut down Gateway processes, enter one of:
+STARTUP GATEWAY! starts SSG in local node
+STATUS GATEWAY ! status of Gateway process
+STATUS GATEWAY * ! status of all Gateway processes
+STATUS GATEWAY PATHMON ! status of Gateway PATHMON
+STATUS GATEWAY PATHCOM ! status of Gateway PATHCOM obey
+STATUS GATEWAY TDP ! status of Gateway TDP
+STATUS GATEWAY RSCCOM ! status of Gateway RSCCOM obey
+SHUTDOWN \CHICAGO !shuts down Gateway in Chicago
or
+SHUTDOWN \* !shuts down all Gateways in network
