Required SPRs
Required SPRs
If T0569AAB or T0569AAE will be loaded on a cluster switch, you must check the
software revision levels on each node to be connected to the cluster switch. Table C-1
on page C-3 lists the required SPR levels needed to support the T0569AAB and
T0569AAE firmware and configuration. Table C-2 on page C-4 shows how to check the
current versions of ServerNet cluster software.
If . . . Then . . .
The cluster switch will have its
firmware and configuration updated
with T0569AAB.
All nodes must be running either:
•
G06.12 or a later RVU, or
•
G06.09, G06.10, or G06.11 and have the required
Release 2 SPRs listed in Table C-1 on page C-3.
The cluster switch will have its
firmware updated with T0569AAE,
and its configuration updated with
one of the split-star configuration
tags from T0569AAE (0x10000 or
0x10001).
All nodes must be running either:
•
G06.14 or a later RVU, or
•
A pre-G06.14 release and have the required
Release 3 SPRs listed in Table C-1
on page C-3.
The cluster switch will have its
firmware updated with T0569AAE,
and its configuration updated with
one of the tri-star configuration tags
from T0569AAE (0x10002,
0x10003, or 0x10004).
All nodes must be running either:
•
G06.14 or a later RVU, or
•
G06.13 and have the required Release 3 SPRs
listed in Table C-1 on page C-3.
