Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
Power Outlet
Because providing power to any device other than the ServerNet II Switch is not
supported, all but one of the power outlets on the UPS are covered by a metal flange.
A power cord connects the exposed power outlet on the UPS to the AC power inlet on
the AC/DC power supply of the ServerNet II Switch.
Monitor Port on UPS
A power-monitor cable connects the monitor port on the UPS to the AC transfer switch.
Remote Emergency Power Off (EPO) Port
The remote EPO feature allows the UPS to be shut down from a remote location. If
your system requires EPO wiring, you must connect the remote EPO port on the UPS
to an EPO switch (not supplied) with dry, isolated normally-open contacts rated at
