Cable and Power Cord Connections
Cable and Power Cord Connections
Several cables and power cords connect the components of the ServerNet Cluster
Switch together, to the AC power sources, and to the ServerNet clusters.
Power Cords
Four power cords are used to connect the ServerNet Cluster Switch. These power
cords connect:
•
The AC transfer switch to the primary AC power source.
•
The AC transfer switch to the secondary AC power source.
•
The AC transfer switch to the UPS.
•
The UPS outlet to the AC/DC power supply on the ServerNet II Switch.
Power-Monitor Cables
Two power-monitor cables provide maintenance and troubleshooting information to the
ServerNet II Switch:
•
The AC transfer switch to the monitor port on the UPS.
•
The AC transfer switch to the monitor port on the ServerNet II Switch.
