Stacking a ServerNet Cluster Switch Enclosure
If you order a ServerNet Cluster Switch enclosure to be stacked on a base system
enclosure, the enclosure arrives already stacked. If you plan to stack the enclosure but
it does not arrive already stacked, contact your service provider.
Preinstalled Components and Cables
When you receive a ServerNet Cluster Switch enclosure:
•
The ServerNet II Switch, AC transfer switch, and uninterruptible power supply
(UPS) are already mounted in the enclosure.
•
The power-monitor cables have been installed.
•
The AC power cords between the ServerNet II Switch, AC transfer switch, and
UPS have been installed.
WARNING. Because of the weight, stacking a ServerNet Cluster Switch enclosure on an
existing system enclosure must be performed only by service providers. Instructions are
located in the NonStop S-series Service Provider Supplement.
