To power on a ServerNet Cluster Switch for the first time:
1. Review the information about power planning in Planning for Power to the
ServerNet Cluster Switch on page 2-16.
2. Connect to the Remote EPO port on the UPS, if required:
a. Review the information in Remote Emergency Power Off (EPO) Port on
page 1-11.
b. Have an electrician perform the steps in Connecting to the Remote EPO
Port, if Required on page 7-3.
3. Perform the steps in Connecting an AC Transfer Switch to AC Power on
page 7-3.
4. Perform the steps in Powering On a UPS on page 7-4.
5. Perform the steps in Powering On a ServerNet II Switch on page 7-5.
