Using OSM or TSM to Monitor a ServerNet Cluster
Switch
2. From the tree pane, select the Cluster tab.
3. From the Cluster tab:
a. Double-click External_ServerNet_X_Fabric or External_ServerNet_Y_Fabric.
b. Select Switch_X_GUID_nnnnn or Switch_Y_GUID_nnnnn.
Using the OSM Service Connection
The OSM Service connection does not have a cluster tab, so you do not need to switch
between cluster resources and system resources. Instead, the ServerNet II Switch, the
AC Transfer Switch, and the UPS appear as separate resources that are part of the
Switch Module resource, which appears at the top level of the tree pane. To view
information about a ServerNet II Switch, AC transfer switch, or uninterruptible power
supply (UPS) using OSM:
1. Start an OSM Service Connection.
2. From the tree pane, Expand the Switch Module resource.
3. View the information about the ServerNet II Switch, AC transfer switch, or
uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
Checking Alarms
From the details pane of the resource you are checking, select the Alarms tab.
