Monitoring a UPS
Using OSM or TSM Alarms to Monitor the UPS
Several OSM and TSM alarms provide diagnostic and troubleshooting information
about the UPS. Refer to Checking Alarms on page 8-3. If an alarm indicates a
problem with an UPS, also check the LEDs on the UPS and the cable connections to
the UPS.
Using the LEDs to Monitor the UPS
The front panel of the UPS contains 16 LEDs that provide information about the UPS.
The LED numbers are not displayed on the front panel.
Note. As shown in Figure 8-5, the LEDs are numbered beginning with number 1 in the upper
right corner, and the sequence of the numbers moves from right to left.
